Women in WWII Suitcase Exhibit

Through collaboration with Montana State University - Billings professors and students, the Museum is currently developing a traveling suitcase exhibit featuring suitable artifacts, photos, and a PowerPoint presentation telling the stories of women who held traditional and non-traditional jobs during World War II.  This exhibit was funded in part by a grant from the Delta Kappa Gamma Educational Foundation.

The Museum's goal for this exhibit is to fill an educational niche in the community by educating children, students, and adults on women's history and to increase cross-cultural awareness. The suitcase exhibit will be available to schools, businesses, and organizations in Yellowstone County and eventually beyond.

If you are interested in contributing to the funding of this exhibit, please contact the Museum at 406-248-2015.

Channel Seven Community Television Program

Funded through a generous donation, Museum volunteers interview women to celebrate their lives and discuss their personal histories. The interviews are shown every other Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. on TV 7 (cable) and are also available for viewing at the Museum of Women's History.

If you are interested in being a guest, contact the Museum at 406-245-4891 or via email at
